My significant other who has been in sales industry for over 15 years is thoroughly impressed with the Dealership I represent. He came to his free buffet steak and chicken dinner that comes complementary with every vehicle purchase. He sat with other customers that had just bought their 12th vehicle with VanDevere. Naturally it initiated many moments of bragging from myself how we are a 70 year company. We are on our 4th generation owner that I am beyond ecstatic to represent with his wisdom and keen sense of where the industry is going. I represent a true family that i witness many situations going back and forth and can walk into either of the VanDevere offices to ask any questions. I may not like the answer but I will get true honest answers with no doubt in my gut of the integrity behind the words.
A little into my background is that I have done business with many car dealers representing the Youngstown area, Cleveland area, Canton area, and of course our prideful Akron area. For six years I tolerated auto brokers, buy here pay here lots, banks, and repossession agents. My reference to the car sales world was mainly, “They are a different breed of man!” Now I sit in a breed of man I respect and will serve my entire car sales career along with. The grass is not greener when I made a sound decision on where I wanted to go build my career. Building a career is like incubating and creating a child or for non parental circumstances well refer to it as a garden. When given the right nutrients your garden will be bountiful. I love representing a company that has helped me blossom in my understanding and knowledge.
So when you are in the market for a vehicle don’t just go to the place with the lowest monthly payment that by no means can legally include tax in their payment and fees that can only apply to certain parties and only on certain base vehicles. Don’t just walk in to settle for the average sales person that doesn’t understand how he should invest your money properly because he doesn’t even know how to budget his checking account. Go to the local family serving your community for the long haul beyond the profit. Go to the sales consultant that understands the depth to the money you are spending. Go to the place that has lots of reviews online because they aren’t afraid of the growth that comes with a negative review and then go back again and again and again and you will always be taken care of! 😀
