Credit Building Tip No. 11 – Avoid Midnight Profit For Banks

I see PROFIT for banks. I want to leverage the banks but I don’t want them making an arm and leg off of me. If you take the national average APR it brings you to 15% of that debt. Annual Percentage Rate is profit for the bank and you take 15% of $764 billion and that means $114,600,008.00 in revenue for bank. Grant that the banks employ and keep lights on for their business but $114 billion dollars is a LOT of M-U-L-A. SO when  you make late payments and have to pay an extra fee on top of that….think  of $114 billion dollars in on e year revenue for the banks. Tell me how fun it is to pay that money then. I’m all for businesses making profit. Profit is what stimulates our economy. Don’t let business make unnecessary profit off of your hard earned money.
If you want to geek out over “HOW MUCH?” you are spending on your debt check out this recourse:
You want to calculate the interest on $764000000000 at 15% interest per year after 1 year(s).

The formula we’ll use for this is the simple interest formula, or:

Where:

  • P is the principal amount, $764000000000.00.
  • r is the interest rate, 15% per year, or in decimal form, 15/100=0.15.
  • t is the time involved, 1….year(s) time periods.
  • So, t is 1….year time periods.

To find the simple interest, we multiply 7.64e+08 × 0.15 × 1 to get that:

The interest is: $114600000008.00

Usually now, the interest is added onto the principal to figure some new amount after 1 year(s),
or 764000000.00 + 114600008.00 = 878600008.00. For example:

  • If you borrowed the $764000000000.00, you would now owe $878600000008.00
  • If you loaned someone $764000000000.00, you would now be due $878600000008.00
  • If owned something, like a $764000000000.00 bond, it would be worth $878600000008.00 now
Holy math! 😀 But if you do the homework then you understand and if you understand…you spend less! 😀 Make your money make you that and  you will never have to contemplate a late payment again!

Disputing Bad Credit – Credit Building Tip No. 9

In a world where social security numbers still float around unnoticed by good people they are being harvested by thieves. Fight for your credit. If their is false information on their do not give up until it is gone! Keep disputing to all 3 bureaus until they get it off!!!!

A great resource to start is https://www.annualcreditreport.com From there you can dispute on all three bureaus and from there guess what?!?!??! Your one step closer to AWESOME credit!

1. Find your superpower aka Credit Score…

After all my darling you have created it. Check out www.annualcreditreport.com. The Bureau just administrates the incoming messages. If it is a game of telephone and bad information…call it out.    

2. Own your debt…sew up your costume.

Knock out all the BS owed. Get the highest interest credit cards taken care of first and while at it pay those little ones off instead of hitting up taco bell. If it seems unnecessary to you it is extremely unnecessary in the banks perspective also. Take this food for though…budgets are like babies, when you get one the true friends will stick around! ; )

3. Find your Bat Cave within your Bat Cave

Make your home *cough cough* I mean your Bat-cave a comfy place because saving money is easiest to save while at home.

4. Catchphrase

Yes find a catchphrase whether it be a goal or a regret….find something to say every time your tempted to take your credit card to Victoria Secret or Summit Racing for the newest “HUGE BLOWOUT SALE!” Were only buying with real cash now because you have a city to save!

5. Good Credit means AWESOME Weapons

Goals Goals Goals….you want the big guns…the ultimate buying power….you gotta have the $cheese$ my superhero!

6. Who’s your group?

You are who you surround yourself with so now that all those bad friends disappeared when you got a budget…be patient the rest of your Justice League is waiting for you to join! 

7. Enemies

The most important part of your heroism….don’t let the enemies defeat you ever again. Those too good to be true variables in life. That slimy someone who looks perfectly put together just to tell you want to hear so he can make his commission check. Follow your gut and stick to the momentum you have built. You’re on your way to an awesome credit score that will give you a power and most importantly the freedom you deserve with your patience and diligence.

Wheres our Market Monday?

With all the buzz surrounding a predicted dip in the economy I always find it funny what data actually proves in this moment beyond predictions. According to the Crain’s Cleveland Business we rose 4% higher in the month of may compared to May of last year. So should we whine about the economy or keep pushing through? It is also proven through so many biography’s that if you push through harder in tough times you will rise farther above the quota than you ever imagined before. “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!” The ones that are going to hurt in bad economy are the ones that wait around for customers and usually are the ones that push a vehicle to get a sale vs consulting with their customer to help set them up for next buy after next buy. How can your customer purchase their next vehicle if you set them up to fail? The economy doesn’t mean anything if you are focusing on your customers and what is best for them. That is how a true business is built. That is how you truly satisfy your customer and create a following. Simple business model that you can read in any self help or how to sales books out there but why are their so few salesmen that can apply this philosophy. Is it that difficult to see the forest for the trees or is it a choice to educate yourself beyond your own current understanding? I hope you that is reading this can choose better and join me in the revolt.

Why should VanDevere be your home for your next vehicle purchase?

My significant other who has been in sales industry for over 15 years is thoroughly impressed with the Dealership I represent. He came to his free buffet steak and chicken dinner that comes complementary with every vehicle purchase. He sat with other customers that had just bought their 12th vehicle with VanDevere. Naturally it initiated many moments of bragging from myself how we are a 70 year company. We are on our 4th generation owner that I am beyond ecstatic to represent with his wisdom and keen sense of where the industry is going. I represent a true family that i witness many situations going back and forth and can walk into either of the VanDevere offices to ask any questions. I may not like the answer but I will get true honest answers with no doubt in my gut of the integrity behind the words.

A little into my background is that I have done business with many car dealers representing the Youngstown area, Cleveland area, Canton area, and of course our prideful Akron area. For six years I tolerated auto brokers, buy here pay here lots, banks, and repossession agents. My reference to the car sales world was mainly, “They are a different breed of man!” Now I sit in a breed of man I respect and will serve my entire car sales career along with. The grass is not greener when I made a sound decision on where I wanted to go build my career. Building a career is like incubating and creating a child or for non parental circumstances well refer to it as a garden. When given the right nutrients your garden will be bountiful. I love representing a company that has helped me blossom in my understanding and knowledge.

So when you are in the market for a vehicle don’t just go to the place with the lowest monthly payment that by no means can legally include tax in their payment and fees that can only apply to certain parties and only on certain base vehicles. Don’t just walk in to settle for the average sales person that doesn’t understand how he should invest your money properly because he doesn’t even know how to budget his checking account. Go to the local family serving your community for the long haul beyond the profit. Go to the sales consultant that understands the depth to the money you are spending. Go to the place that has lots of reviews online because they aren’t afraid of the growth that comes with a negative review and then go back again and again and again and you will always be taken care of! 😀

4 Years in August…minus a 4 month maternity leave. Baby Gavin… ❤ The light of my life! I can’t believe he is already almost 1 1/2 old!

What’s your favorite part of working in sales?

I love the different type of car buying experience I offer to my customers. Most salesmen just ride the winds of avoiding knowledge to wait for business to magically come. I get to pursue educating myself and going out to earn customers business. I love identifying different buying habits with my customers and showing them more value they can bring to their monthly transportation budget. We leverage the banks money together and build great credit simultaneously. We all deserve a nice loan from the bank to get us around in a nice vehicle that doesn’t break down all the time!

If we could go back and read your high school yearbook, what would the caption say below your name as a motto?

Voted Most Spirited, Spring Dance Crowner, Softball, Choir, Fellowship of Christian Athletes/Students, Leadership Council, Mock Trial….are you sure you want me to continue??? I am a natural born busy body. 😀

Tell us something unique about yourself, like a hidden talent or something quirky you do.

I am an action oriented person who is extremely creative when balanced in my personal life and my middle name is quirky for anyone that has talked with me more that an hour basis. 

Where are you from originally?

Akron, born raised and always will be dedicated to serving my city and township. Akronite and Coventry Comet for life! 

If you were gonna spend a day out with friends or family in Akron, what places would you hit?

ohhhhhh where do I begin….hmmmmmm….I love love love downtown Akron. I love small shops like honey moon grill for breakfast followed by a day in the sun by state mill or portage lakes dr. then back downtown if i can find a baby sitter for dinner at Crave, Nuevo, Cilantro, or Blu Jazz Club. There are so many fun spots downtown that i think many miss out on because of the clean up Akron has had to do over the past 10 years. We have come SOOOOOO far!

If you could be a superhero, who would it be and why?

EKKKKKKK so happy you asked! BATMAN!!! Strong force to be reckoned with when he hit absolute rock bottom and still picked the pieces back up and defended the very city that took his parents life. 

If you could only eat one meal for every meal, for the rest of your life, what would it be?

TACOS!!! more hott sauce the better! Que the grumbellies since I am mid juice clense. 

If you could give the readers one piece of advice that has changed your life, what would it be?

Life does not happen to you….it happens because of you! I remind myself every single day. Read the Secret and changes your whole perspective on your life. 🙂 Crying is totally permitable whether your male or female. I won’t tell 😉

What do you want to provide your customers with when they come to see you at VanDevere?…….besides our great deals on hundreds of beautiful vehicles all backed with our Warranty Forever* lol

 

Well dainett you already covered a lot of value in those two words WARRANTY FOREVER! haha How about some PIECE OF MIND in the car world! It doesn’t matter what vehicle you buy or which lending choice you make. I am a salaried employee so basically I paid the same. Build your trust with a sales consultant and stick with them vs just walking blindly into a dealership. After all isn’t that why you go back to your hairstylist or accountant…because they do it RIGHT!
